SCHOOL GROUP FIELD TRIPS
TO THE MUSEUM
The
museum currently offers the option of a guided tour of the museum
or your group can explore on its
own.
Guided
Tour
This includes a pre-visit contact between the group's organizer and the museum's education
staff to plan out the trip's focus and schedule the day's events.
Such events can include slide presentations, demonstrations, hands-on activites, a guided tour and even live music sing-alongs.
Some of our programs include birds, mammals, rocks and minerals, GPS/GIS mapping, and trees. Your
group can also utilize the scavenger hunt booklet to help create
a flow and focus to your visit. We can also take the group on a hike on the trails behind the museum.

Self-guided
Tours
This provides your group the opportunity to wander around as you
wish and experience the museum more casually. The scavenger hunt
booklet would also be available to you if you wish as a tool to
help stimulate some questions and provide some answers.
Please
discuss with the museum staff prior to your planned visit which
experience you prefer and schedule your group's visit even if you
are going to choose the self-guided approach.
For scheduling, prices and any other questions, please contact Jason Saltman at the museum at (802) 464-0048, cell phone (802) 579-3023 or email at jts1662@yahoo.com
